How to set the resolution to 2560x1440 if it is not in the settings?

Monitor - SAMSUNG C27JG50 (144 Hz, 2K)
Laptop - Asus X570UD-E4038
Task: connect a monitor and set the resolution to 2560x1440 for the monitor.
Q: Is this possible with my laptop and if so, how?
