Choosing a monitor and video card

After replacing the laptop with a system unit, it became necessary to update the monitor (it was: 20 "1600x900 + 12.1" 1280x800 (laptop)).

Criteria:
— main application: programming, webdev. Sometimes movies, games.
- diagonal: 23/27 "
- resolution: from 1920 × 1080
- connection via DisplayPort (or HDMI). In extreme cases, DVI-D.
- the ability to use a monitor bracket
- you need 2 (3?) monitors => you need a video card with two DisplayPort (Radeon HD 7770 ?). Now intel hd 4000 video (d-sub + dvi-d)
is a reasonable price / quality ratio. Reliable workhorses are needed. No frills.

Reviews on Yandex.Market are contradictory.
Monitors are most likely for me will have to order (at first you will not be able to see).

Actually, what monitor would you recommend and what video card to take for them so as not to make problems in linux?

IMHO, if there is no photographic perfectionism, and you need a pair of monitors, then it is cheap and cheerful to take a pair of
23" Dell UltraSharp U2312HM or 24" Dell UltraSharp U2412M.
Take a card starting from geforce 660 and above or radeon 7770 and above.
It’s enough to shove into any connectors now, connecting several fullhds is not a problem, but I saw just a few displayports only in the older Radeon 7970 models.

I don’t recommend taking Radeon HD7xxx video cards for a few more months, you need to beat on the hands of those who advise them (they work extremely poorly out of the box, and closed firewood doesn’t suit me for certain reasons, and sometimes they work out), it’s better to take something from the Radeon HD6xxx - open firewood works great with them out of the box. I have a Radeon HD7770 and HD6870 - both have a pair of DP, DVI-D and HDMI, they will pull any monitors. I also recommend CrossOver 30'' + 27'' monitors - there is simply no alternative to Korean monitors at this quality in terms of cost. If we take branded ones - I tried DELL U2412M (two from different batches) - I can’t say a bad word, excellent quality and a pleasant aspect ratio, there is practically no alternative for a similar cost.

I have a pair of U2413s. One in the layout and one in the portrait - very convenient.
Checked U2312HM, U2412M - the cheapest.

Crossover MDP2720 (gold) if not expensive, high-quality matrix and resolution higher than FHD. But gloss is not for everyone.
Came from Korea for 15k in February, very satisfied.

Monitor - U2412M. I took it for myself, after which, within 2 months, the office amicably switched to the same ones.
Video - I took it six months ago, after the Asus HD7970 did not start on my mother (asus), I took a gigabite 660ti and was happy as an elephant. In general, it depends on the budget.
