Hello, the question is, macbook air is 2017, with usb ports, no type-c, is it possible to charge from a power bank through regular usb?

No. air 2017 can only charge through magsafe.

MacBook Air 2013 + cable with aliexpress: "magsafe2 type c" + ZMI QB815 (the rest with PD support will work just fine)
