Change monitor resolution without scaling?
Good afternoon, I have the following situation: the monitor has a non-native controller, because of which he (the monitor) thinks that he is a full-fledged fHD handsome, although in fact he is a 1600 * 900 serf. Therefore, the image does not fit completely on the screen.
Therefore, I ask you to suggest answers to 2 questions: is it possible to reflash the controller so that it knows who it really is and in which direction to dig? - This is an ideal prospect, but difficult for me to achieve, since my soldering and programming skills are very average.
The second option: is it possible to force the video card to render the image in the required resolution? Now if you change the resolution to 1600*900, then it will stretch to FHD, while blurring. And I want it to render 1600*900 and finish with black pixels to FHD (or red).
