Why does the cursor disappear when I press the keys?

Why, when I start pressing any keys, does the cursor on the touchpad immediately stop moving? The fact is that I need to make sure that the cursor is active during keystrokes, but I did not figure out how to do this in the settings.

Look for a setting in your laptop's proprietary software. Lenovo definitely had such a setting.
