Car on-board computer in the full sense of the word
Are there serial devices that would allow:
1. Carry out car alarm functions (unlock/lock doors, block the starter and ignition, raise power windows when arming, etc.)
2. Perform navigator functions, taking into account traffic jams, with a removable display — any android device with 3G internet that can run Yandex maps (for example) is suitable here. It is desirable that the device has a removable screen (removable - so that it can be hidden from drug addicts
) with signaling)
Maybe on kickstarter and others like you met such a project?
I would be grateful for any information.

These functions are traditionally performed by separate 3 devices:
1. Alarm
2. Radio with navigation
3. DVR with two cameras with a motion sensor (and they all have it).
To combine these 3 devices means to reduce fault tolerance, including machine units. After all, the alarm is responsible for breaking the engine circuits, if it stalls while driving, this can lead to an accident. Also, there is no point in linking these 3 devices together because there is no information they need to exchange. Then, when they are separate, if one device hangs, the others work. And so, for example, when the navigation hangs, the DVR will stop working. What are the benefits? No…
There are serial 2DIN devices based on Android with a removable panel, which itself is an Android tablet. And to have everything in one set at once ... There is no such thing, and no one needs it.
Instructions on how to steal a car with such a device:
1. Break the glass.
2. Pull out the radio.
If it is still possible to combine points 2 and 3 (ready-made 2din carPC, for example), then the first point should be performed by a separate specialized device, and inconveniently hidden (not under the dashboard, yes).
If you need exactly Yadex.Maps, then there is a ready -made on- board computer Yandex.Auto . Plus there is "Alice", the Internet, etc. etc.
