Where can I find (or write from 0) the simplest GPS logger / tracker with export to GPX / NMEA for Android?

The task is quite banal - to turn an android smartphone into a GPS logger in order to further upload waypoints in GPX format (for example, for walking, cycling, auto travel).
Of course, there are quite a few applications on Google Play for this (My Tracks, Osmand, Geotracker, Maverick, etc.), but they are all overloaded with a heavy interface, maps, etc. features unnecessary for this task, unnecessarily draining the battery and resources of the smartphone.
In fact, you need to determine the coordinates once every 10 seconds and write a track without a GUI to the GPX file without using the mobile Internet, etc.
PS As a development option and as a separate option, it would be useful to be able to emulate a GSM tracker by accumulating coordinates with an interval of 10 seconds and sending them to the server with an interval of 1-5 minutes (for example). The format is known to me and is supported by many web services for working with tracks (OrangeGPS, narodmon.ru , etc.)
