Can the router download torrents to the NAS and not to a connected USB drive?

There is a Seagate Business Storage 4 Bay NAS, but it cannot download torrents. And I would really like to be able to download large rips of 40-50 GB in the background without computers turned on. Therefore, I want to implement this possibility using a router. But, as far as I understand, if such functionality is present in routers, then it is possible to download torrents only to a connected hard drive. Is it possible to somehow do this on the NAS's extended folder? Maybe in third-party firmware there is such an opportunity?
PS I'm looking at the Asus RT-AC68U model, good reviews about the Tomato firmware, but I really couldn't find any information on my specific issue. I apologize in advance if I didn't search well. I have no experience with this firmware and in general with routers that have similar functionality.

@kvbrg

you mount the network resource provided by nas as a folder in a tomato and register the torrent as storage, it uploads it without even knowing where it is.
it is better to mount the folder via NFS, your nas, judging by the description, can.
