Can the IRS look at my Upwork account and give me backs?
Hello everyone, I have been working on upwork for a year now, but I just opened a current account.
Accordingly, in the profile I have several completed contracts.
Can the tax office give me lyuli only on the basis of the profile, or can I not take a steam bath and just transfer earnings to the R.S., pay 6% and live in peace?

Only not 6% will work.
To live in peace, the total amount of taxes, taking into account the maintenance of the account and other things, is 10-15%
You can forget about 6%, unless of course the turnover per year is not more than 300 tr. And to this amount, add the transfers to the pension + keeping the account in the bank. If the turnover is above 300 tr. add another 1% of the total amount. And just try to mess up somewhere when transferring funds or pay at the wrong time. Also, do not forget once a year to prepare a bunch of papers and go to the tax office, stand in lines and submit reports. And God forbid, the wrong number will be somewhere there (and if you don’t do accounting, it can easily be the wrong one, because our beloved state comes up with something new every year), then you have to redo everything and ride again.
So think 10 times if it's worth it)
Open the Tax Code, read the definition of the taxable base and find the answer to your question.
If you can’t understand the definitions there, just don’t mess with taxes.
If I were you, I would spend efforts to increase my earnings.
Not for this nonsense.
From a certain point on, you yourself will want to pay taxes honestly.
When you really have something to lose.
Maslow's pyramid for.
In general, open an IP, pay 6% and don't worry.
Or open an LLC on the USN, pay 1% and don't worry.
