Can't use the discrete graphics card on my laptop?

Hello. I have a Lenovo y570 laptop with two graphics cards. One built-in Intel and Nvidia Geforce gt555m. I reinstalled the system and installed the drivers first on intel, then on invidia. When I go to the panel controlled by Nvidia, in the 3D settings, there is no way to replace the integrated card with a discrete one. The selection window is gray and not active, and integrated is automatically selected. There is only a "Restore" button nearby, and after pressing it there is an opportunity to choose, but when you save the choice, everything becomes as before, the built-in map is automatically selected. Games are lagging and unplayable. Already put different systems and different drivers, but to no avail.

@Drno

Get the drivers from the laptop manufacturer's website. They are usually modified, relative to standard
