There is a monitor with 1xVGA and 1xHDMI available, and the PlayStation 4 should arrive in a few days. The system unit is connected via VGA, and the PS4 is connected via HDMI.
Actually, is it possible for both PC and PS4, together, to be connected to the same monitor? And how will the transition between devices take place?

It is possible through the local network. But the image resolution will be 720p.
At the moment, there are two ways to connect PS4 to a PC or laptop.
There is a slight delay in the official one, while the unofficial one supports keyboard and mouse.
