Is there a glow effect on VA monitors?

Good day to all.
Almost any monitor with an IPS / PLS matrix is subject to the Glow effect or highlights at the edges. Some model more, some less. And how are things going with monitors with a VA matrix? Russian and English issuance of Google is silent on this issue. It turns out that this problem was fixed in VA-matrices?
I ask the owners of VA-monitors and / or those who crossed paths with them to share their experience.
The monitor is needed as the main one for working with IntelliJ IDEA + surfing the net.

shine around the edges

These are not features of the matrix type, but features of the operation of the LCD technology itself (more precisely, current implementations) - the backlight is not completely blocked, plus the type of backlight - at the edges, from one, two, all edges, a matrix of lights behind the LCD matrix, the way these diodes are turned on when you can extinguish ... stop, what and why am I explaining at all ?!
To be honest - you are doing garbage :), in a normal monitor "pleasant to the eye" and everything else, you will not pay attention to this if you are doing business, and not "peek out pixels" and turn on the "black picture" and look for flare .. . instead of "do business"!
