Can Mac OS passwords be cracked by simply following a link?

Hello. Please tell me how real it is to crack passwords in Mac OS? Recently they sent me a link to a Trojan on Skype, i.e. sent by a friend, I opened it, but then he told me that it had been hacked and it was a Trojan. But I have a Mac, so I think, should I be worried that I went to this link? The link was some Asian news site, I didn’t do any passwords or confirmations or downloads there, I looked and immediately closed it. The link was of the form resource address_my Skype login.

I don't think it
looks like SE anymore or a mailing list from a notorious Asian news site. Perhaps you will like it and start buying?

Theoretically, this is possible using browser and operating system vulnerabilities.
In practice, if you have an updated operating system and browser, this is possible, but not very likely, because zero-day vulnerabilities (not known to OS and browser manufacturers) are very expensive, and are usually used in targeted / government attacks. If you are not a politician, businessman, public figure, journalist, terrorist, spy, etc. and do not own information worth millions of dollars - most likely you were not the target of a targeted attack, although the attack may be directed at the organization in which you work.
It looks more like it was spam.

Yes, if a Macintosh window style popup pops up, then yes! But your task is not to enter passwords anywhere. In extreme cases, first check the transparency of the security protocol,
HTTPS and not HTTP, since only teenagers and schoolchildren who do not have money to buy security connected are phishing, so this is the first!
And the second is that the file cannot be torn out of the system, just like on Andoid, only if you do not have SU Root, so be calm about it =)
