Can installing Python3 on the server affect the user experience?

The server (CentOS7) does not have Python3 installed, I was given root rights to install it. I have never been the person who should do this, I worked a little with servers on Unix systems (only ubuntu) and I was told that I should not screw anything up on it during the installation process, because. the server is used by other people 24/7. Actually, if I go to install Python3 now, will it somehow affect the work of other users (besides the fact that after installation they will also be able to use it)?

If by some miracle there was no python by default - put it boldly. Nothing will happen. And it is advisable to install from the repository that you currently have connected by default, on productive servers they do not give access to the Internet to the left repositories, and as you put it above - connecting extra reps - this is beyond your responsibilities. It doesn't require a reboot.

If Python is used somewhere it can be affected.
Otherwise, most likely indirectly.
But it's better to just temporarily suspend the server, make a backup and install it.
Better yet, give money to someone who can do it.
