Error when installing on a 32 GB flash drive?

When installing Linux on a flash drive, it gives me:
The ext4 file system creation in partition #1 of SCSI4 (0,0,0)(sda) failed.
Other file systems do not accept too.
Why is that?

If other file systems do too, then the flash drive is most likely broken.
If you called a memory card a flash drive, check that the switch on the side is not in the Lock position.
