Can I use an m.2 drive with an old chipset (H67)?

I want to buy ssd. is it possible to use ssd with M.2 interface on motherboard with
H67 chipset? board https://www.asus.com/en/Motherboards/P8H67M_LE/.
will it work fine with a pci-e adapter?
