Is sphinx bad for SSD on local development?
Developed locally with vagrant on Macbook pro 15, 256 GB SSD. Bought six months ago.
On one of the projects, Sphinx indexes a view with 600 users by a cron every minute.
So, how bad is such a load for an SSD drive? Will he soon fall into disrepair from this?

Well, not only the Sphinx.
The operating system also constantly-regularly writes control info on the SSD .....
Problems with the SSD are exaggerated.
7 years with the same SSD - normal flight.
You are afraid - make a virtual disk in memory.
600 entries is not a lot, and why would you index every minute on your local machine?
