I have a problem.
We need to develop a mobile application for selling books.. The author of the books is one writer, only his books will be sold in the application. GOOGLE PLAY BOOKS already has these books of the writer that are sold at a fixed price.
The concept of the application is a bit non-standard and here's why:
The application must use a monetization system - by subscription .. That is, I can subscribe:
for 1 month = 2$
for 6 months = 6$
for 12 months = 12$
After the subscription expires from the user automatically subscription fees apply. You can also turn off this kind of subscription in the settings. Here you can use the standard Google component to implement such monetization .. they have it.
How the app works. The user downloaded the application:
- can see the list of books
- can see detailed information about the book
- can read part of the free text of the book - this is 10% of the entire book. (the link to read a free piece of the book is on GOOGLE PLAY BOOKS, the link should lead there.).
- The application will offer to purchase a subscription for one of the 3 proposed terms. If the client subscribes, then the user will have access to all the books in their entirety, he will be able to read the entire book.
Now the most difficult, I don't know yet whether this can be implemented.
FACT: Google Play Books already has the writer's books for sale at a fixed price.
- The task is to make an application by subscription. After a person subscribes and pays money for it, you need to make the books available for reading ... Books should be pulled from the same “GOOGLE BOOKS” .. That is, there will simply be links to books in “Google BOOKS” in the application .. Now the question , if we offer a subscription to the user in the application and he will issue it, then he wants to read the book and goes to it in GOOGLE BOOKS and there it will be paid again ??? That won't work, of course.
Is it possible to download individual books in google books that are not available to all users, but will only be available to us via LINKS, and we will transfer the user to them .. accordingly, these books will already be free and the user will read them, will it be possible to do this?

The idea is cool, technically feasible, if you do everything yourself without intermediary platforms...) why don't you just promote it on Google Play?
