How to set up control android device with a broken screen?

There is an LG GT540 phone with android 2.3.7 on board. The screen is broken, but the sensor does not seem to be badly damaged (at least you can unlock and turn on Wi-Fi blindly). In order not to waste good, I want to make a webcam out of it with remote access (for example, via iVideon).
Question: how to organize this without having direct access to the desktop on the phone? In principle, debugging on the phone seems to have remained enabled and you can try to do something through adb, but I can hardly imagine how to set up the installed application blindly (and they all require at least minimal configuration).

@overmes

through adb you can get screenshots and already navigate them:

you can also send a click through adb

Simple option - just remote control from a computer - www.fjsoft.at/en - worked with Android 2.3 appart perfectly
