Android application with Json loading and tabs with fragments crashes when the device is rotated?

There is an android app. There is an Activity with tabs inside tab fragments that load json, parse and display the list in the recycler view. Everything works vertically and horizontally, but when you rotate the device, the application crashes. Why?
