Can competitors harm me by creating mirrors of my site?

Hello. I noticed 12 mirrors on my site that do not belong to me. Why and why they are made I don’t know for sure, I read it on different sites and they write that it can harm. Decided to ask you if it can hurt. If so, how can you protect yourself from this?

May harm.
Defend - embed authorship in text, watermarks in pictures, etc. There are many ways and you can’t choose just one, because this is a war of shells and armor, and in war all means are good, including technical and legal ones.
