Does the prospect of SEO promotion depend on the domain (domain zone)?

Hello. It's no secret that the most popular domain zones are .com .net .org. I would like to open an online store and am currently looking for a domain name. Almost all good options in these domain zones are already taken. I decided to purchase with less popular domains like .store or .shop. For example phones.shop. But what about SEO promotion with this domain option? Do search engines like such less popular domains or are they poorly indexed? It is clear that there are no problems with the most popular com or net zones. And as for the unpopular, how are the prospects for SEO promotion? Is it worth it to buy domain names with a provider of such domains? I am not an expert in this. Maybe a stupid question, but whatever. Thank you all in advance!

It's better to take ru or su. At the expense of the left domain zones such as shop, store - it may not matter to search engines, however, you may come across useful SEO tools that are not known how they will work (or whether they will work at all) with such zones. And not only for SEO - in many plugins for popular engines or frameworks, third-party domains may simply not pass validation in forms.

Search engines do not care what zone the domain is in (even if it is on ucos). It all depends on how the site itself will be optimized and filled.

For Google it depends. If an exotic domain is poorly present in the local market, then such a site will be less competitive with analogues on popular domains. An exception is the installation of such a domain on an established and popular site.

*thinking aloud: my question is straight forward) *
In order of priority for people:
1. Orientation: regional (country domain, eg Russia - .ru (.su) or the whole ball: .com)
2. In descending order of priority:
. org
.net
.info
Search engines don't care about zones!

If you take a domain in an exotic zone, then it depends.
And if you take from among the zones popular in Runet (ru, com, su, net), then there is no difference.
