Can a virus get into the BIOS? How to get rid of it? Will the update help?

Dad installed the BIOS from the left site a long time ago, then I had to demolish Windows. Now I think that there is a stealer in my BIOS that steals my passwords, etc. Could this be? Will a regular update help? Will resetting the keys help?

installed bios from the left site
I was very lucky that the bios started up (although maybe the bios flasher checks crc, and does not allow writing the left firmware?)
then had to demolish windows
this is not related to bios.
Will a regular update help?
buy a chocolate bar, eat it, just don't throw away the foil (google - why)), download the update from off. motherboard website and update the bios.
Everyone, you can sleep peacefully.

If the bis is flashed, then this is a suitable bios, you can not worry about it. It is not so easy to flash the left BIOS, but if the computer turned on and works after the firmware, then the BIOS was normal.
There are developments on the introduction of viruses into the BIOS, but this is at the research stage and practically this does not occur.

If possible, do not touch the bios at all if something goes wrong, the motherboard will be dead
