Built-in new video card in the processor and the old discrete?

Good day.
I have this configuration:

  • Motherboard MSI H81M-E33 (Socket 1150)
  • RAM DDR III 8 Gb 1600 MHz PC12800 Kingston KVR16N11/8
  • Processor Intel G3460 x2 (3.5GHz) Box
  • Hard drive 3.5'' 1 TB 7200 Serial ATA III Seagate 64 Mb ST1000DM003
  • Power supply 450W BOOSTER (ATX-450W) 28pin, 2 x sata, 2 x ide, 1 x Fdd, 1 x P6,12cm cooling fan

The built-in video card in the processor suits, but I have EN8400GS Silent lying around

Does it make sense to use it instead of the built-in one as a temporary option?
What would you recommend for the optimal video card for this configuration for the future?

Discrete is useless. When a friend wants to play, he will replace the processor and buy a card for it.

You, quite by accident, forgot to specify for what purposes. Games? Working with graphics? etc.

It was a friend who asked me to assemble a computer for him.
He has a larger TV (plasma)
Plans to display an image on it.
And so surfing the Internet in the first place.
Then there is watching movies on plasma.
Plans to play light games in the future.
And so he is at the stage of mastering the Internet ^_-
