Can a Mac freeze due to the Jira site?

Good afternoon
I use a MacBook Pro 13 (2016)
At work, I always have the jira tab in chrome open.
Sometimes when switching from another tab to a tab with Jira, the computer freezes.
I can move the cursor, the touchpad clicks, but there is no response from the system.
Hard reboot helps.
Have you experienced this?
If yes, were you able to decide?

The AdBlock extension was breaking Jira, but now everything is fine with the extension enabled. Apparently fixed

I use JIRA all the time, but in Safari (with AdBlock enabled), nothing out of the ordinary. Try Safari.
