Bought a domain to which there are links. Rejoice or wait for a catch?

Bought a domain from godaddy.com. I recently noticed that google analytics shows 1000 links to it (on foreign sites). How can this be? Whois shows the data that I filled out.
Sorry if this is a noob question, this is my first time doing this.

depends on the quality of links and their environment

Mostly blogs and articles. What does profile articles have to do with it (about clothes, there is a style in the domain). Everything is in English.
For example, someone's blog on wordpress.com.

If there are links, then most likely the domain was released recently and you purchased it after it was released.
