Booting Windows 10 TO GO from an internal drive, is it possible?
Hello, does anyone know if it is possible to make Windows 10 to go boot NOT only from a USB drive, but also through the SATA SSD / HDD interface?
It turns out to install via USB-Box / or install it on a USB flash drive, and then copy it to the SSD - no problem. But when connected to SATA, the system simply does not boot. After turning on the computer with the connected SSD with W10TG via sata, there are no messages. It shows me the logo of the manufacturer of the car, and then just a black screen.
PS I did not find specific information like "WTG supports booting from USB ONLY".

you need to fill the axis on ssd / hdd in the same way as before the disks were burned) simple copying of files will not help, there is no boot partition
, then use the same rufus or other crap, so the device will be perceived by the system as readable
further, if available, through the sata-bridge usb upload the axis to the screw (since most programs, such as rufus, cannot upload directly to the screw via sata, but only to a removable device (in general, connect the screw as external))
and then upload the axis to it and connect it as internal
something like this
