Boot area on an external hard drive without deleting data
Hello.
I have a friend's netbook with either memory problems, or a crooked Windows, which was installed by the unfortunate masters. There is a proven distribution kit for testing everything and everything and installing different OSes.
The problem is that I only have an external screw from WD per terabyte from which 300 gigs are free. Of course, you can’t format it, there’s nowhere to backup it.
Can I create a boot area (partition probably) on a flash drive / hard drive without deleting content? The file system is NTFS.

GParted can change / shift partitions, it is available as a bootable USB flash drive or disk. A year ago, I did not spoil anything, but I had a backup just in case.
I can tell you something :) With this www.getusb.info/flip-your-bit-usb-utility-to-make-local-drive/ utility, you can turn USB Removable into HDD, and then you can try to put it rough or something something like that.
