Blocking a 4G camera with a Megafon SIM card?
We bought a 4G camera for a gardening partnership, with the ability to send pictures by email using a motion sensor, record video on a memory card, connect to it from a phone (android, apple). In general, a typical outdoor 4G camera.
We chose the Megafon operator (in that area, it really works better than all other operators, in terms of speed and stability).
The camera worked for a month without complaints. Then it stopped showing up online. They took it off, tested it, reset the settings, reconfigured it - the diagnosis is as follows: the interface of the built-in 4G modem is available via Wi-Fi, the camera interface is not available.
Fortunately, the warranty on the camera was sent for repair. The repairmen contacted me, they say everything is fine with the camera, they say we send it back. I get it, I turn it on - the problem is the same. I'm sending it back for repair. The repairmen give access to the camera - everything really works (Beeline's SIM was standing at that moment). The camera is returned. I turn it on - it does not work again. Inserted instead of Megafon - SIM card MTS. The camera worked. I write to the chat t \ n Megafon, they answer that they did not block anything. Indeed, when the camera is connected to the modem via WI-FI, Internet access is available from other devices. Now I don't know what to do... When choosing a tariff, they immediately paid for the year.
Maybe someone came across a similar one, and is there a solution without changing the operator?

All cameras with built-in 3-4g modems are shit. Not a single sane vendor seriously indulges in such. And what Uncle Liao will come up with in his basement is not known.
Look for the latest firmware for the camera, or rather, take a normal router and plug the camera into it.
Go to the iota ... the megaphone often blocks such things if there is a lot of traffic
maybe you have a tariff for mobile phones, switch to a tariff for modems, most likely the operator blocks it because ttl is not 64. And yes, cameras with a built-in modem are still ..
Absolutely the same story, only with a TELE2 SIM card. The camera worked fine with it for almost a month, and suddenly the picture stopped transmitting. I tried everything ... I found out that the camera orientation function is saved (fingers on the screen, back and forth, the camera rotates). When rearranging another picture (megaphone), the picture starts to be displayed immediately. I called the operator, asked about the blocking, they said there were none. I changed the tariff from "my online" to "all devices" the picture immediately appeared. But such a tariff is three times more expensive. Conclusion: if you have a cheap 4G camera with a low resolution (small video stream), you can use any tariff with Internet from 4 gigabytes. But if you have a more expensive and advanced camera with a higher resolution, with a larger focus range, then sooner or later you will be calculated at the usual rate and blocked, in fact, they will block traffic from this particular camera. There will be only one way out, change the operator, do not turn it off for another month, or switch to a special tariff (for devices).
