Black screen when creating a virtual machine, what to do?
I recently started to be interested in programming languages and so on. I read on the Internet that it is better to put the OS on Ubuntu. The essence of the question is that I install a new Linux Kali through VirtualBox and after I create a virtual machine and click install Linux, a black screen appears, there is not even a cursor. I did everything according to the instructions, rummaged through the entire Internet, and did not find an answer.
here is stage 1
after clicking "Install" the following appears
and everything I tried to wait is useless.
PS I work on 64 bit version, 10 Windows, but klai x32 and I don't know why there are only 32 bit systems in the list in virtualbox.

On the last screen, you need to specify not the host system, but the OS that you will install.
And update VirtualBox .
Install (update) Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack .
If someone's wifi decided to stumble, then in my opinion, it's better to start with something simpler - wifislax for example. And boot from live usb, "whistles" are not particularly "friendly" with virtual machines...
Enable hardware virtualization in the BIOS (VT-x or AMD-V, depending on which processor you have).
And in the settings of the virtual machine on the System -> Processor tab, check the PAE checkbox.
