What Linux distribution to choose for acer aspire one aod270?

There is a netbook acer aspire one (intel atom 1600, 2gb RAM).
You need a legion and a fast Linux for it.
I tried elementary - it's scary.
Thank you

Here rather a choice in DE.
Therefore, the distribution kit is any, and the DE is something from the XFCE , LXDE
series There are assemblies of these DEs based on Ubuntu (once elementary was installed)
xubuntu.org
lubuntu.net

Try lubuntu, or some distribution with mate, but alas, it will not work super fast.
It's not about Linux per se. Depending on what to do on this netbook, I think it’s normal not to watch online videos, unless html5 and then I’m not sure that it can handle h264. Modern sites eat off 300-400mb per tab and require a lot of CPU time to render the interface. This is an old netbook, I had a similar one, even then it was hard to sit on more or less heavy sites.

I have a similar asus eee 1000H. Installed archlinux+i3wm. It works very well, it doesn’t get stupid, movies, music, the Internet .. I didn’t pull only heavy MKV videos.

It's more a matter of taste preference.
By interface, for example, or one that you personally know better.
Any modern, mature distribution should work just fine.
