Bitmap crashes?

How departures are made for documents that do not have borders and sheet sizes. For example pdf, tiff, jpg, psd

The overhang is the part of the image that will be cropped after printing. Accordingly, if we are talking about exclusively electronic documents, then departures do not make sense. If we are talking about layouts for a printing house, then such a layout is prepared on a sheet of a larger format than the finished copy will be, and cut-off marks are marked on it. Everything that goes beyond these marks is the departures.
PDF, by the way, has page size. Graphic formats contain the resolution of the picture, which, combined with the number of dots, again gives the linear size.

Any graphic file (document) has borders and linear dimensions. If you mean something else, please explain.
