Are normal gradients possible in Pantone?
Urgently need the help of a printing guru.
As you know, a gradient of two Pantone colors produces a pale hue.
I've looked at a lot of English forums and they recommend using Overprint. Below is a diagram.
I'm doing it this way, but for some reason, when I apply the "Screen" overlay to a darker background, it becomes completely transparent. As a result, only light blue color is displayed.

Both objects should have a Normal overlay, the top gradient object should have an Overprint Fill attribute. It is smarter and more predictable to make a gradient not from pantone 100% transparency to zero, but from pantone 100% transparency to white 0-0-0-0 also 100% transparency. And, as already mentioned above, the result is weakly predictable without test printing in pantones in a printing house, a screen and a printer printout will not give a complete understanding of the final effect. You need to have a very good idea of what you are doing and why, and for this you need to have good experience in prepress
