Bios, turbo boost?

Hello! Guys, tell me, I have an ASUS K54HR laptop and it has an intel celeron b820 processor. I would love to improve its performance. I installed an SSD, 4GB of RAM (is it possible to put more?). Found an intel core i7-2620M processor. After searching for information and understanding it, I found out that this processor will fit my motherboard, but the question is that this processor has turbo boost. Since processors with this function were not installed for the entire model range, the question arises, but will this processor be determined and will turbo boost work? As far as I understand the BIOS controls this function

CPUID is the same, should work. Turbo Boost seems to be controlled by the processor itself, it should also function. Well, at most, the Intel ME settings in the BIOS can limit it.

(is it possible to put more?)

8 GB is possible.
One problem - the cooling system of the laptop is designed for Celeron, and the Core i7 will constantly overheat, throttling, and work not much better than the Core i3. Consider the option with Core i3 / i5 because you are unlikely to notice the difference
