From my own experience, I can say that when you connect a DVD drive to a computer, it takes longer for the BIOS to load, because. boot devices are defined.

No.
And how much without a reader will be approximately?
I have an Optiarc BD RW BD-5300S. If by "start" we mean spinning points, then 1~2 sec. If from the first image to the desktop (that is, including the initialization of the RAID and additional controller) - up to 10 seconds.
