Beeline

Beeline presses images, especially crooked png. Who knows: why, why and how long it will continue?

I noticed how poor the quality of the images became, especially the png format, and in fact they are very common in interfaces, and on the apple website, in general, photos of devices with a black speckled shadow.
Here is the first "sprite":

Similar to PNG-8.
What device are you watching on? After all, the problem can be not only in Beeline (which, in my opinion, is unlikely), but also in the browser.

Yes, I heard Beeline uses Western technology to intercept traffic (about which theorists from Habr kept shouting that Deep Packet Inspection is difficult, expensive and will not pay off and is impossible). This is done to speed up the loading of Internet pages, that is, for your own, consumers, benefit.
I can, however, advise you to use sites that use images in JPEG format. Or use Socks/Proxy/VPN.
PS Is it possible to see HTTP headers for compressed images?

99% that this is the result of the work of the traffic optimizer, operators like to indulge in this to reduce the load on the network.
Start systematically pecking the support service with complaints so that they either tune it (well, or turn it off completely for a specific access point)

Beeline apparently does not even pay attention to this. How bad it is when, even with competition, the quality of services is full 3G ...
