"Battery connected, charging" but the indicator does not move?
Recently there was a laptop repair after a short circuit in the processor. After the repair, I noticed that the battery is not charging. More precisely, after turning on the laptop, the battery charge indicator is animated (the battery is charging) for 5 seconds, after which the animation stops working and the indicator remains in one place. The indicator itself says "the battery is connected, charging", but there is no charging itself. What could be the problem? Tried other power supplies, same result. Removed the item "battery with ACPI-compliant management" in the device manager. Still nothing helped. What could be the problem?

try to charge the battery on another laptop, if the result is the same - change the battery.
if not, look for a fault in the battery charging circuit.
