Are there systems in place to inventory and describe the structure of the network?

Hello.
Are there any systems for the technical description of communication networks?
Those. there is a conditionally network, it has hardware on the central node, it is necessary to maintain some kind of bug tracker on it, indicate all the actions that were performed, the composition of the equipment, store configs, settings, a knowledge base for reproducing the structure.
In short, there is hardware and software. You need to go to another place and do the same, without being tied to people. For this, there should be a description, configs, sources for reproduction, etc. Is there something for these purposes?
PS Monitoring, as such, is not of interest (Zabbix does an excellent job with this). A clean warehouse with inventory numbers, the number of units, etc. is also not right. I will detail even more. There is a certain environment: various kinds of hardware, which are connected to each other programmatically and physically, there are settings for this hardware. At the same time, the composition of hardware, software and settings may change. A certain collective image is engaged in this, let it be a certain person, a super specialist. It is necessary to log all changes (hardware composition, hardware switching among themselves, software composition, its interconnection and its settings). So that you can conditionally go and do the same, having familiarized any other ordinary specialist with this. The same web developers have, for example, some Vagrant with ansible, puppet. The analogy may not be exact, but the idea is clear. You need a backlog for the farm and instructions for this farm. Those. its current state, which can be easily reproduced (go to get iron, instruct programs and work) and the history of changes.

GLPI + FusionInventory plugin is free, on a pearl and puff ... :(
Stores inventory, information about consumables, suppliers, information about components, there is no ticket system, it's better to use something else for this.
I recommend storing the code in gitlab, which will allow you automatically collect configs from the hardware via gitlab-ci and version this stuff automatically, everything is pretty easy to do there.Wiki can also be written in md(MarkDown) there.kanban boards, will help organize the work, in principle, even for the ticket system will do.

Any option - from notepad to wiki or specialized ServiceDesk systems.
The latter are based on 1C, they are quite suitable.
