Are there such tables, or how to do something similar with your own hands?

Often you have to work with large (~ 50x100 cm) maps / drawings, and I really want to have it not just at hand, but right on the surface of the table under glass. In the old days, we just laid something like that on the table, covering it with glass that could move, the edges of the paper could creep out and fray.

I need to block the glass and not let the circuit get out from under it, while being able to change the circuit. Not so often. I work with a laptop, there is practically no trash on the table - therefore, the change process is not so resource-intensive.

Large plexiglass + two piano hinges. It will not ride, if necessary, there will be a lift from one edge, like a laptop cover.

In a chipboard countertop, you can cut a window, chamfer, put glass there. Under the table cover, install corners on which you can already put plexiglass with a drawing. From below you can highlight the lamp.
It will turn out similarly to the keyboard stand in modern tables.

It is possible to rivet something like this, but here it is already necessary to completely design the countertop, they did something similar, the upper surface was made entirely of organic matter, under it there is a tray and that's it, but of course here you have to do everything completely yourself. The downside of the design is that organic matter is still fairly scratched.
