Are there any problems with the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479 ([f]dw)?
I have an M477 series MFP in my hands and it's hell. I want to sell it and buy the next model M479.
In this regard, there are questions about whether the problems of the old one are present in the new model?
1) Are there any problems with printing various file formats when the printer says that the file is damaged? Usually, this is a PDF. On a poppy, converting the file to ps format helped.
2) Does it automatically pick up paper from the manual feeder without changing settings? I expected that the printer, if there is paper in the manual feed tray, will take it from there, if not, then from the main tray. But 477 doesn't do that. No settings could make it work according to the above algorithm.
3) Is the color reproduction adequate? The 477 was hell even with native cartridges. Color reproduction was completely inadequate. I even called the master, but he could not do anything about it. Color calibration is missing. Non-native cartridges worked exactly the same.
4) Are there non-native cartridges? Apparently, the model is new, they write on the market that they still do not exist in principle. If yes, are they normal?
The rest of the problems were minor. Are there any other problems, or should I look at other manufacturers?
What is the difference between 477 and 479? Are there any significant differences that may affect the above problems?
