Are the results of an independent audit of the quality of the code of large commercial projects in the public domain?

The question comes from a hypothetical situation. There are two major commercial software products. Both products have similar functionality. It is clear that in the process of using the products, the client will encounter bugs in the software product. With equal functionality, I want to understand which product will cause fewer problems during use. Are there any independent reports/standards on code audits or on processes within the organization that are aimed at getting rid of bugs and preventing new ones?

It's not entirely clear how what you're asking relates to the product. You understand that everyone understands audit in their own way and everyone wants something different from it. For example, a good audit maulnet.ru/archives/32849

Of course, all companies are happy to provide the source code of their commercial software products for audit to everyone ;)
