Are synced folders in Vagrant dangerous for SSDs?

I would like to completely transfer local development to Vagrant, but I'm afraid to "arrive" SSD ahead of time. I couldn’t find any information that synchronized folders in Vagrant are exactly sharing or still synchronization, that is, information will be written every N seconds / milliseconds, or is it still just a shared folder for the host and guest machine.

Dangerous, everything is dangerous. Disable/migrate swap, temp folders, caches, OS, and put SSD in safe..
