I recently started studying statistics, I want to share my feelings. It's not easy, I thought it would be easier. It feels like something similar to electronics, it is also very important there not even understanding, but to feel the fundamental principles. And you can feel radio electronics through practice and solving various problems based on Ohm's law. The same is true with statistics. Only here it’s more complicated, there are not particularly simple tasks with solutions, I found only Sarah Boslaf’s “Statistics for All”. The book is good, especially if mathematics is tight, it explains very well the mathematical formulas used in statistics, introduces the theory of probability on the fingers. In general, everything is fine, but sometimes it is not clear. And the most simple things. Now I'm reading (considering :)) "statistics basic course in comics" by Grady Klein and Alan Debney. Although this is a comic and everyone is laughing at me, it is a very cool comic that allows you to deal with statistics at a basic level, to create the right associations. Image type "When we want to know how salty borscht is, we don't try the whole borscht, we take a small sample with a spoon and judge the saltiness of the whole pot of soup from it." Then I plan Ramsey Deborah. "Statistics for Dummies" is also a good book, although from a series for dummies. Books in general in bulk and it's all individual. As I read in one review, "yes, this is old stuff, the author gives distribution tables when there are a bunch of statistical programs." This is the wrong conclusion. Almost every normal textbook has table data and you need to be able to use them. Such conclusions appear due to simplification and misunderstanding of the object of study. In order to multiply 128 by 128, we do not open mathcad, you can simply use the multiplication table. So see for yourself, read, compare, look for your own. In any case, it's not easy. Good luck.
