Apple iMac '27 5K 2015, is it worth taking to work in unity 5?

I decided to make a small project in unity 5, the question arose of buying a "horse" on which I will do my project, and I have heard that on OS X absolutely all programs related to graphics, programming and other things go much better than on PC, and I just can’t decide what to buy: a really fierce car on windows or an Apple iMac ’27 5K 2015 (The most expensive model)? And please justify your answer. Thanks in advance.

Nonsense, half of "all" work only on Win, and the rest work the same

iMac 5K is not a fierce computer, but a fierce monitor with no alternatives on the side. A fierce computer is a Mac Pro.

If you haven't worked with macos before and there are no macos nearby... maybe you shouldn't?
Nothing prevents you from raising a poppy in a virtual machine ... after that, decide when you work with all the necessary software (find out the price or find where to download it).

If you like to invent problems for yourself in order to solve them later, install a hackintosh, as many advise.
Choose a system that makes it convenient for you personally to work in it. A professional unity programmer should not care at all what system is installed. For the same reason, I do not advise listening to adherents who cherish a particular OS and hate everyone else. Their opinion is biased.

Wait for the new Mac Mini to come out in February, take it.
