Apple for Education: On what terms?

Good afternoon! Found
on the Apple Store online that there are special terms and prices for students/teachers, for example: 1. MacBook prices: store.apple.com/en/mac/family/macbook-air 2. MacBook for education: store.apple .com/en-edu/mac/family/macbook-air As you can see, there is a discount. But what exactly needs to be done to use it? The product is added to the cart in the same way, you don’t have to enter the record number anywhere, i.e. Apparently there is no prior check. On the other hand, then what is stopping non-students/non-teachers from buying goods at discounted prices? Perhaps someone is familiar with this program in more detail and can tell?

Maybe out of place, but in Svyaznoy the prices for the MacBook Pro do not differ much from the prices of RuMacStore Edu: 88k rubles against 81k rubles as of today. But in any city of Russia and on the same day, not Moscow / St. Petersburg.
