How do I connect a third party LED strip to HomeKit?

I want to make my own LED lighting, I really like how Apple organized HomeKit, their application and the ability to combine different devices. This is also possible in other systems, but here I will specifically talk about Apple HomeKit, only their solution is of interest.
To connect devices to HomeKit, you need to connect certified equipment, if we talk about LEDs, then this is Philips Hue. But tapes from Philips cost some space money, very expensive. I want to connect an ordinary purchased RGBW tape, but I do not know how to connect the controller from this tape to HomeKit.
What solutions can you offer? I see two options:
1. Use a "proxy", that is, a device, for example, on Raspberry, which will connect to HomeKit (such tricks already seem to exist) and transmit commands to the native LED controller.
2. Maybe there are already ready-made LED controllers that can connect to HomeKit, I just didn’t find them.
