Alternative to Mac mini?

Good afternoon, somehow Habr’s sheet came across an article where the author described the development of a workstation in a case like a mac mini, the case was aluminum and he ordered from China,
can anyone remember this article, give a link, I can’t find it in any way, I wanted to buy a laptop but it's heavy, so I'm thinking of buying such a computer, (if there are alternatives, please also throw off the names)

Why not poppy? Trust me they are worth the money!
On the subject, there are good compact PCs (not in aluminum, unfortunately) from Dell
