All-Russian training marathon "Programmer" 2013

Today I discovered a subject -
They say that this will be a free online event lasting a whole month, with the aim of teaching people the basics of programming. The list of participants includes employees from some large companies, such as Yandex, Miscosoft, Kaspersky Lab, etc. Promise a book as a gift. However, there is no clear program of the course, or at least topics that the experts will touch upon, nowhere in sight. What do you think, is this event worthwhile and worth recommending it to friends who are looking for a "start in programming" for themselves?

I think it's some kind of divorce.
The site is dumb, like those that are trying to sell all sorts of underclasses, after which everyone will become megaprogrammers and will receive $ 5k a month.
A quick google found a comment on YouTube www.youtube.com/all_comments?v=wHiayhuacxw :

The most common subscription scam. The letter comes from the site [viralmarketingbomb. com], which reveals all the cards. You won't get an invite if you have 3 of your friends signed up, 5, 100.., but you'll start getting all sorts of bullshit like "great deals". Actually, on the site on behalf of which the letter comes, the scheme is well disclosed ...

The description on the site about how “a marathon changes lives” reminded me of a habratopic Three-month-old programmer .
