This date is specified in the whois of the domain (free-date). But it is not always true:

• the domain may not be released if it is "under trial";
  
• the domain may become free later if the free-date falls on a weekend in the registry.

A month before the full release is just given in order to pay. Only you need to pay the same registrar.
