A free pedometer app without intrusive ads, looking into your notebook, and trying to sell the paid version?

Of course, I understand that capitalism, and app authors want to earn a living on a piece of bread with caviar, but this already goes beyond all limits - it is impossible to find a decent fitness tracker without intrusive advertising, a bunch of unnecessary permissions and attempts to sell a paid version.
Are there such applications that can both work normally and behave decently?
